1. Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: 50 % reduction of tuition fees up to four years

Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship is offered to soon-to-be international students at both levels – undergraduate and postgraduate. This University of South Australia scholarship offers a 50 % reduction in tuition fees. Awarded students are obligated to maintain a GPA of at least 5.0, otherwise, the discount will not be will be disregarded at the next invoicing. If a student’s GPA returns to at least 5.0, the scholarship will continue. Eligible students can apply for the scholarship via their online form. Please note that not all degree programs are eligible to apply.

2. International Merit Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: 15 % reduction of tuition fees up to four years
  • Eligibility Criteria: academic merit, minimum English language requirements, full-time student, GPA of at least 4.5 (according to Academic grading in Australia) or equivalent

International Merit Scholarship is offered solely to international students with good academic merit. This scholarship is offered at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. The best students who receive this fellowship are also awarded a monthly discount to cover 15 % of their tuition fees.

Awarded students for this scholarship at the University of South Australia are obligated to maintain a GPA of at least 4.5, otherwise, the discount will not be will be disregarded at the next invoicing. If a student’s GPA returns to at least 4.5, the scholarship will continue. All students who enroll in either Bachelor’s degree programs or Master’s degree programs are considered for the Scholarship.

3. Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships

  • Scholarship Amount: up to fully funded (tuition fees, health care, living expenses, airfares, COVID-19 tests, etc.)
  • Eligibility Criteria: academic merit, an international student from the Asian, Pacific, and Middle-eastern countries, English language requirements, leadership skills

Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships are offered to the students of Asian, Pacific, and Middle-eastern countries to enable their higher education and drive a positive change. It covers most of the costs related to the study. Disabled students can also apply for coverage of their caretaker’s costs. The final evaluation is based on academic standing. Postgraduate Scholarships at University of South Australia

1. Research Training Program international (RTPi) Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: 21,000 USD per year for a maximum of three years (doctoral) or a maximum of two years (master’s) + health insurance + sick leave + recreational leave etc. + possible thesis allowance

Research Training Program international (RTPi) Scholarship is offered to international students with outstanding academic and research potential. A high level of English language knowledge is also expected. The stipend covers everything from tuition fees, health insurance, and a variety of leaves such as sick leave and maternity/paternity leave. To be considered for this University of South Australia scholarship, the student must demonstrate outstanding academic merit and research potential. 2. University President’s Scholarship (UPS)

  • Scholarship 21,000 USD per year for a maximum of three years (doctoral) or a maximum of two years (master’s) + living expenses + possible thesis allowance + health insurance

University President’s Scholarship is similar to the Research Training Program International Scholarship. The eligibility criteria are the same and are also strongly based on academic merit. The scholarship covers all tuition fees and living expenses for the entire duration of the master’s or doctoral program. It also includes Overseas Student Health Cover insurance. 3. International Research Tuition Scholarship (IRTS)

  • Scholarship Amount: tuition fees for up to 3 years (doctoral programs) or up to 2 years (master’s programs), does not cover health insurance (one of the conditions to obtain a student visa)

International Research Tuition Scholarship is eligible for students who show outstanding research potential as well as academic merit.
