1. Fisher Fellows Program

The Fisher Fellows Program is reserved for undergraduate students who are first-generation university students. Interested applicants must have a declared major in USC Dornsife, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have substantial financial need.

Scholars will be invited to partake in speaker engagements, leadership seminars, mentoring programs, and other enriching activities.

The funding from this scholarship at the University of Southern California is distributed between three academic years. First-year, second-year, and third-year undergraduate students may apply for this scholarship.

2. Continuing Student Scholarship

3. Presidential Scholarship

The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to 200 students at the top of USC’s applicant pool. The recipient of this award must demonstrate superior academic achievement, have strong leadership experience and demonstrate exceptional talent.

This University of Southern California scholarship is only open to first-year students. There is no separate application for this scholarship and interested applicants only need to submit their Common Application to USC.

The Undergraduate Admissions Office will contact candidates who passed the initial screening process.

4. International Freshman Academic Scholarship

This scholarship is reserved for first-year international students applying for undergraduate degrees at USC. Similar to most merit-based awards, recipients of this scholarship must have an excellent academic record, demonstrate innovation and perseverance, and have substantial experience with leadership roles.

Only a completed Common Application, USC Supplement, proof of financial support, and supporting documents are required to be considered for the scholarship.

5. USC Associates

  • Scholarship Amount: $18,000 per year

This University of Southern California scholarship is awarded to students that have shown excellent academic achievement under a demanding curriculum. Applicants with superior academic achievement are candidates for the scholarship. Aside from academic merit, the applicant’s leadership experience in school and community service is also considered. The USC Associates Scholarship is only open to first-year students.

Only a completed Common Application, USC supplement, and supporting documents are needed to be considered for the scholarship.

6. ARIT Fellowships in the Humanities and Social Sciences in Turkey

  • Eligible Degrees: Ph.D. Degrees in the discipline of Arts and Humanities
  • Scholarship Amount: $15,500 living stipend

This fellowship is funded by the American Research Institute in Turkey. It is offered to Ph.D. and Post Doctorate students pursuing research in ancient, medieval, and modern times in Turkey.

Fellows may come from any field in the humanities and social sciences. There is no minimum or maximum age requirement for this fellowship.

Additionally, applicants for this fellowship do not need to demonstrate substantial financial aid.

7. International Peace Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: $24,999 cash award

The International Peace Scholarship is reserved for women from all over the world interested in pursuing further education in the United States. The scholarship amount varies and is dependent on the need of the applicant.

With this said, this scholarship available at the University of Southern California is not intended to fund the complete cost of education and personal expenses of the recipient. Applicants must be able to reflect additional sources of funds for their education upon applying for the scholarship. Examples of additional resources are personal funds, tuition waivers, assistantships, and other scholarships.

There is no minimum or maximum age requirement to be eligible for this scholarship.
