1. Americas Undergraduate/Postgraduate Excellence Award

The Americas Undergraduate/Postgraduate Excellence Award is awarded to those currently living in any American territory, regardless of their nationality. Students are encouraged to apply for these University of Nottingham scholarships based on their area of domicile—if a student lives in the Americas but possesses a different nationality, they may contact the university if they’re having any difficulties with the application.

Aspiring students from the Americas are expected to have received an offer to study at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship. Once accepted, the student will receive an email with a username and password to the MyNottingham, the university portal where they can then apply for the scholarship through the scholarships tab.

The ASEAN and Oceania Undergraduate/Postgraduate Excellence Award is a scholarship at the University of Nottingham given to any individual currently residing in Southeast Asia or Oceania. If an individual lives in these areas but is of a nationality outside of them, they can get in touch with the university with any potential concerns with the application.

Prospective students must first apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course at the University of Nottingham and receive an acceptance before applying for this scholarship. An email will be sent to the student with a username and password that can be used to log into MyNottingham. There, the student can apply for the scholarship through the corresponding tab on the website.

The East Asia Undergraduate/Postgraduate Excellence Award is a scholarship offered to those living in East Asia, primarily: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Mongolia, North and South Korea, and Taiwan. Those with East Asian nationality but are currently living elsewhere are encouraged to apply for the scholarships targeted to their domicile. Anyone experiencing difficulties with the application due to nationality and domicile-related issues may contact the university.

The candidate must have first applied to the University of Nottingham and had been accepted to any undergraduate or postgraduate degree before applying for this award. Along with their acceptance letters, they will be receiving an email from the university with a username and password to MyNottingham. This is the university’s official portal where prospective students browse through and apply for scholarships, including this one.

The application consists of questions relating to the candidate’s academic achievements, the reasoning behind choosing the University of Nottingham, and plans for the future. The scholarship team will be awarding these University of Nottingham scholarships based on individuals’ academic merit and motivations, and it is recommended that much thought be given to providing strong, clear answers to the questions.

4. Sport Scholarships

The University of Nottingham also has viable scholarships for excellent student-athletes, including three basic options (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) and several, specialized scholarships. Prospective and current students at the university may submit a form of interest through this page and will be contacted by the university if a scholarship can be awarded. Do take note, however, that being eligible for the scholarship does not mean a guaranteed sports scholarship.
