To encourage maximum participation of international students in TU Dresden’s international activities, the university, in partnership with the “German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) – STIBET Program” offered the Scholarships for Highly Committed Students for students currently enrolled in a postgraduate Master’s degree.

The Scholarships for Highly Committed Students program is open to non-EU/EEA residents currently studying for a postgraduate Master’s degree in the timeframe of their final thesis submission. Applicants must have at least a grade point average of 2.50 and shall demonstrate commitment to TU Dresden’s international activities, either paid or voluntary. Examples of engagements include participation in international students mentoring programs, assisting with cultural programs of the university, and other similar activities. To apply for this scholarship available at TU Dresden, applicants must submit a duly accomplished application form, a current list of examination results and confirmation of credit units to be secured in the Examinations Office, a motivation letter, and proof of commitment to TU Dresden’s credited international engagements. The selection committee, composed of three officers from the International Office of TU Dresden, will cross-check applications for eligibility. 3. DAAD-STIBET Scholarships for Study Completion

To support international students on the final thesis term of their postgraduate Master’s coursework, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) – STIBET Program sponsored the Scholarships for Study Completion that provides a monthly stipend that can be received in conjunction with other scholarships for program completion.

As mentioned, the Scholarship for Study Completion is open to international students currently on their Master’s coursework, finishing at least 75% of the prescribed credit units of their curriculum. Preferably, applicants currently enrolled in their final thesis units will have the best chances of receiving the scholarship stipend of EUR 300 in three months.

To apply for this scholarship, students must submit a duly accomplished application form and a certification from the Examinations Office certifying the completion of prescribed credit units for the scholarship application.
