1. Global Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: €5,000 for 1 year only
  • Eligibility Criteria: 1st year undergraduate students from countries outside Europe. Students from China, India, and the US are encouraged to apply for other country-specific scholarships offered by Trinity College Dublin.

The Global Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to international students based solely on academic merit.

Applicants must submit the following documents: an admission letter from the college, CV, and 200-word statement letter about their potential contribution to the Trinity College Dublin community.

These requirements for Trinity College Dublin scholarships will be sent via email to their respective Regional Manager with the following subject line: full name of the applicant, Trinity application ID, and scholarship name. To find out about Regional Managers’ contact information, applicants must select their country in this page and find their Regional Manager’s email address in the “Contact Us” section.

2. Global Business Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: €5,000 for 1 year only
  • Eligibility Criteria: International students who are admitted into the Global Business undergraduate program at Trinity College Dublin

The Global Business Scholarship is awarded to 1st year undergraduate students of the Global Business program. This Trinity College Dublin scholarship is also based on academic merit, and the selection panel will assess the students’ academic potential and future contribution to the Trinity College Dublin student body.

To apply for this scholarship, submit the following requirements: an admission letter from the college, CV, and a 200-word “How I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community” statement which can be submitted as PDF or Microsoft Word document.

These documents will be sent via email to Regional Managers with the following subject line: applicant’s full name, Trinity application ID, and name of scholarship. Applicants will receive an acknowledgment receipt after submitting their applications, and their Regional Managers will inform them if they have been selected for the scholarship.

3. E3 Balanced Solutions for a Better World Undergraduate Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: €2,000 to €4,000, and €10,000 for students applying for the Environmental Science and Engineering program or the Joint Honors degree in Computer Science and Geography
  • Eligibility Criteria: International students who will be pursuing any of the following undergraduate programs: Computer Science, Computer Science and Business, Joint Honors in Computer Science and Geography, Engineering, Engineering with Management, Environmental Science and Engineering, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Geography and Geoscience, and Management Science & Information Systems.

The E3 Balanced Solutions for a Better World Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen students who will pursue a science-related program at Trinity College Dublin.

To apply for this scholarship, submit the online application form and wait for the Recruitment and Admissions Team’s further instructions and announcements.

The deadline for the 1st batch of applications is March 1. The 2nd batch of applications will close on May 1.

Postgraduate Scholarships at Trinity College Dublin

1. Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: €5,000 for 1 year only
  • Eligibility Criteria: Full-time postgraduate students with non-EU status
  • Degree Offered: Masters

The Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship is awarded to full-time postgraduate Trinity students from any country outside Europe. These students will be assessed based on their academic performance.

Applications for this scholarship at Trinity College Dublin are sent via email to Regional Managers. The following documents are required: Trinity admission letter, CV, and 200-word statement about the applicants’ future contribution to the Trinity community.

Applications from the US can be submitted on or before April 1, while the deadline for Indian applicants is May 1.

2. MSc Comparative Social Change Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: €5,000 for non-EU students
  • Eligibility Criteria: Students applying for the MSc Comparative Social Change program
  • Degree Offered: Masters

The MSc Comparative Social Change Scholarship is offered by the Department of Sociology at Trinity College Dublin and the School of Sociology at University College Dublin. This scholarship is open to both local and international students with excellent academic credentials.

International students are not required to apply. They are automatically considered for this scholarship once their online application form for the MSc Comparative Social Change program is accepted.

3. Energy Science MSc Scholarship

  • Eligibility Criteria: International students pursuing a graduate degree in Energy Science

This scholarship is awarded to international students under the MSc in Energy Science program. To be eligible for this scholarship at Trinity College Dublin, candidates must have an undergraduate degree related to science or engineering. They must also be full-time graduate students and fulfill several academic duties as instructed by the Energy Science program directors.

Upon submitting the online application form for the MSc Energy Science program and receiving a conditional or unconditional offer from Trinity, download and submit the scholarship application form to the Energy Science department. For the subject line of the email, include the title “MSc Energy Science Scholarship” and 8-digit application reference number (received by the applicants after submitting their application forms for the Energy Science graduate program).
