1. Eiffel Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount:

There is no direct application for the Eiffel Scholarship established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Instead, Télécom Paris itself will apply to their students. The institution must also express that they commit to admitting the students in a master’s, engineering, or joint doctoral program. While the scholarship duration is 12 months to 36 months for Master’s program scholars, the duration for those in the doctoral or PhD program is only 12 months.

There are seven fields in the sciences and humanities that applicants may pursue when granted the offer. Awardees may take a gap year; however, their benefits will be suspended during such a year. 2. Télécom Paris Alumni Fund: International Excellence Scholarship

    • Have been recruited through Télécom Paris’ international recruitment activities

The International Excellence Scholarship from the Télécom Paris Alumni Fund is intended for students recruited through the university’s international recruitment efforts. They must pursue an engineering program full-time and comply with the residence laws in France.

Benefits of this Télécom Paris scholarship will be received through a single installment every September. The granting of such installment is subject to the school fees, which will be stated in the admission letter sent to the students who will be given the offer. The PhilFrance Scholarships by the Embassy of France are intended for Filipinos who wish to pursue Master’s level studies in any higher education institution in France. Those who want to study on international campuses of French universities are not qualified. Awardees must pursue their studies full-time, and they may take up any program, except for vocational and technical disciplines.

This Télécom Paris scholarship has a maximum duration of 24 months, which includes a mandatory internship period. Interested Filipinos may submit their documents, such as curriculum vitae, academic essay, transcript, letter of acceptance, copy of study plan, and proof financial resources. The PhilFrance-DOST Scholarship is a joint effort by the Embassy of France in the Philippines and the country’s Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI). Awardees may pursue the following priority fields of study: agriculture, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biological sciences, climate change, forestry, health, and medical research, material sciences, medical chemistry, natural resources and environment, nuclear application on health, nuclear medicine, veterinary sciences, and virology. They may opt to have English, French, or both as the language of instruction.

Awardees must pursue their studies full-time. This Télécom Paris scholarship duration for a Master’s studies is 24 months or two years, while for a PhD, it is 36 months. Interested applicants may submit their documetns through the scholarship link only. To be accepted, applicant must pass three levels of screening. Should they complete their studies, there will also be contract obligations that they will have to fulfill.
