Externally funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals incentivizes potential future leaders dedicated to contributing towards the global collective action for the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with cash grants and a tuition fee waiver to any master’s degree program.

With the aim to develop leaders for the global stage, the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals is open for international students hailing from 42 eligible countries (see comprehensive list) with a robust academic background, pronounced leadership experience, and a minimum of 3,000 hours of work experience in the field of sustainability. As a competitive grant with generous incentives, only 4 to 6 percent of all applicants are given a chance to experience the Swedish education system in their institution of choice – including the distinguished Stockholm University.

To apply for this scholarship available at Stockholm University, applicants must first secure their applications to the master’s degree of their choice on the University Admissions website and be qualified for a degree offered in a Swedish university – in this case, Stockholm University. Interested applicants need first to secure a program offered in the Stockholm University – Department of Law’s Masters in International Commercial Arbitration Law. Interested applicants should have a degree offered in the Masters of Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering at Stockholm University during the year of application. Applicants should also graduate as one of the upper 20% of their class, and shall have extensive knowledge in the field of renewable energy.
