1. International Office Undergraduate Scholarship

It is only first-year students who can receive the £3,000. 2. JMK Solicitors Prize

  • Scholarship Amount: £3,000 per year for three years

This scholarship is intended for one successful Law student at the university. Whichever student receives the highest marks in the Torts module will be awarded this prize. The £3,000 is granted to the winner for every year of their study for three years and can be spent on whatever they see fit.

However, if numerous students earn the highest marks in the module, then the award amount will be split between those students. For instance, if three students receive the highest marks, then each student will get £1,000 per year. If there are more than three students with top marks, then the student who has the highest mark in Level 2 will be granted the money.

3. LLB Senior Status International Scholarship

  • Eligibility Criteria: students who hold a place to study the LLB (Senior Status)

All international students enrolled in the LLB (Senior Status) course at Queen’s University Belfast have a chance to receive this scholarship. The £4,000 award is granted once in the student’s first year and the money is deducted from their tuition fees.

2. Evelyn Orbinson Bursary for Planning and Development

There is only one of these scholarships worth £2,000 available and the money can be spent on whatever the awardee sees fit as it is granted in the form of a living allowance. The successful candidate will be chosen based on the quality of their personal statement and the academic excellence they can display.

3. Commonwealth Ph.D. Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: airfare, tuition fees, stipend, warm clothing allowance, thesis grant, study travel grant, fieldwork costs covered, and a family allowance
  • Eligibility Criteria: citizen of a commonwealth country and hold a high-level undergraduate degree

The Commonwealth Ph.D. Scholarship allows doctorate students to focus fully on their research and studies as it ensures all financial bases are covered. As it is aimed at international students, airfare is covered from your home country at the commencement and end of your studies.
