Newcastle University Scholarships for International Students

Newcastle University proves how an appreciation for both the old and new can form a relevant institution for the future. The school started as a specialist institution of medicine and surgery in 1834, and later expanded to courses relevant to culture, health, and the economy. Some notable discoveries and inventions by Newcastle alumni include the steam turbine, the causes of Alzheimer’s Disease, and even the beginnings of Pop Art.

The implications of this combination are far-reaching, ranging from studies to preserve South African flower fields to video game development. This impact is also felt close to home in Newcastle’s 50-acre, sustainably designed campus and award-winning facilities.
