  • Scholarship Amount: You get either a tuition waiver or a tuition waiver + TWD 6,000 per month
  • Eligibility Criteria: This scholarship is eligible for Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, and Macau students. Have you stayed overseas for the last six years? If you have, then your chance is high to get this kind of scholarship.

3. College/Department Scholarship

Does every department in the National Taiwan University can offer you this type of scholarship? According to the information they posted on their website, the answer is no. That’s because every department has unique criteria and scholarship policies.

  • Scholarship Amount: You can get TWD 6,000 per month and a tuition waiver of up to TWD 130,000
  • Eligibility Criteria: You need to have at least a 3.5 GPA or above each year as a Master’s student. When it comes to Ph.D. students, their application is reviewed by college committees every academic year. There is a quota of 30 people every academic year
