The University of Sudbury was founded in 1913. Its goal for its students includes teaching its students to be strong leaders, but also servants to their communities through the type of employment they wish to pursue. The University offers many great opportunities to students including classes on such subjects as Philosophy, Indigenous Studies, Folklore, Etudes Journalistiques, and Religious Studies. As of now, this university is closed due to a financial crisis.
