The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is a public university in Anchorage, Alaska. Other campuses can be found throughout Southcentral Alaska. It was founded in 1954 as the Anchorage Community College. The university offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a variety of fields, including Alaska Native Studies and Aviation Administration. To promote Alaskan culture, all undergraduate students must complete three credits in Alaska Native courses.
