The university strives to become an internationally acclaimed university and so adapts its teaching and administrative methods to be ‘student-centered’ and responsive to society’s needs. Due to its adaptive attitude to higher learning, it began offering military science as a major in response to South Korea’s unique military system.

The university operates two campuses, with the main campus in Nonsan acting as the administrative center and the second campus in Daejeon focusing on training students in the medical field.
