Henan Finance University was formed to accommodate students whose career path leads to the finance industry. It is considered one of the few institutions to introduce and train students in the said specialized discipline in Henan province. Since then, it has played a significant role in training a large population of elite accounting professionals in the region. The university has eventually expanded to offer undergraduate programs in various fields of study, such as engineering, information technology, law, and art design, to name a few.
