The Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) is a public university in Chihuahua, Mexico. It was founded in 1954 as the Literary and Scientific Institute of Chihuahua with the goal of promoting cultural development in the city. The university was granted autonomy in 1968. Undergraduate and postgraduate programs are available at UACH in the arts, natural sciences, medicine, economics, and law.
