1. The Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students

The benefits for this Hokkaido University scholarship may vary depending on the scholar’s year level and whether or not they are non-degree research students. Also, as scholarship recipients, they are eligible for the University dormitory during the scholarship’s duration, which may last up to 4 years, depending on the program. Applicants must submit an application form, consent letter from prospective supervisor, transcripts, recommendation letters, and official candidacy announcement from your university president.
