Undergraduate Scholarships at Hanyang University
1. Hanyang International Excellence Awards (HIEA)
- Scholarship Amount: 30-70% tuition waiver
- Eligibility Criteria: International Students accepted into undergraduate courses in the university; with a TOPIK level certificate; GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Hanyang International Excellence Awards awards select students based on academic performance. This scholarship is open to international students accepted into undergraduate courses in the university, with a TOPIK level certificate (preference for higher scores) and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Interested students may apply online during the semester and submit relevant documents for their applications. Shortlisted applicants will be asked for their certificate of health insurance and undergo an interview screening process. The final list of accepted scholars will receive a 30%, 50%, or 70% reduction in tuition fees for one semester of study. This amount will be remitted back to the student at the end of the semester.
This Hanyang University scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with scholarships from other organizations. Students taking a leave of absence after the semester sponsored by the school will render their scholarship invalid.
2. Hanyang International Scholarship Program (HISP)

The scholarship may last for eight semesters for freshman students, and four semesters for transfer students. Students must ensure they maintain a GPA of 2.0 and up to maintain the scholarship.
3. Hanyang Scholarship for Excellence in TOPIK

- Eligibility Criteria: International students accepted into undergraduate courses in the university; with a TOPIK score of at least level 5.

The Hanyang Scholarship for Excellence in TOPIK grants competitive scholarships to international students who have mastered the Korean language.
