1. Excellence Scholarship

3. Tuition Fee Waiver

2. Eiffel Scholarship Program

The Eiffel Scholarship Program was founded by the ​​French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to encourage outstanding foreign students to take their postgraduate studies in France. To apply for this scholarship available at École Polytechnique, candidates must forward their intent to the French institution where they plan to study– the school will be the ones to forward the application to the Ministry. The duration of the Master’s study is from 12 to 36 months, depending on the student’s year level or chosen program, while Ph.D. students are covered by the scholarship for 12 months. The award includes a monthly allowance, travel allowance, health insurance coverage, and other benefits.

3. Alexandre Yersin Excellence Scholarship

The Alexandre Yersin Excellence Scholarship, funded by the French Government, was established in 2000. The program aims to promote the French education system and strengthen the relations between France and Hong Kong. All foreign Master’s candidates, regardless of nationality, are welcome to apply as long as they are permanent residents of Hong Kong or Macau.

Interested applicants must submit their application form, HK or Macau permanent ID, CV, motivation letter, and transcripts. Pre-selected candidates will also have to go through an interview before the final review and selection. Chosen scholars for this scholarship applicable at École Polytechnique will be given the chance to pursue their Master’s in an eligible field of study in France. The financial support amounts to EUR 5,000 which will cover the tuition fees, and a monthly allowance of EUR 660. The duration of the study is two years– one year for study and another for training in Master 1 or 2.
