The Capstone Editing Textbook Grant is a scholarship offered by Central Queensland University that covers textbooks expenses of undergraduate students for up to three years. Part-time students may apply, but they must show proof of commitments or medical conditions that prevent them from being full-time students.

The scholarship grant benefits are granted as a $1,000 gift voucher every year, for three years, that they may use to buy any needed textbooks at the scholar’s chosen bookstore. Postgraduate Scholarships at Central Queensland University

1. Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: $28,597 per annum
  • Eligibility Criteria: 1st or 2nd-year full-time research students

The Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship is a government scholarship for 1st and 2nd-year research students to help with their living costs. To be eligible, applicants must either provide that they can travel to Australia or already live in Australia since the scholarship benefits are only granted when the scholar is residing in the country. Scholars must also not be receiving income from other sources, or if they do, such income must not be more than 75% of their stipend rate.

There are no direct application methods as potential applicants are invited to apply by the School of Graduate Research. They may relay their interest to their supervisory team, who may recommend them to the said school. They must also submit a written submission with their application. Applicants will be evaluated based on academic achievements, writing skills, quality of research and its alignment, and evidence of motivation and research experience.

2. Australia Awards Scholarship

Another scholarship available at Central Queensland University is the Australia Awards Scholarship. This award is granted by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to encourage students from other countries to pursue studies in Australia. It hones students through the study and research opportunities, which they may apply to contribute to their country’s development. The scholarship benefits and duration depend on the student’s program and country of origin.

Application may be made online or through the mail. Your country may require you to submit additional documents. Should you be accepted as a scholar, you must maintain a GPA of at least 4.0 every term. You may also be called on to share and promote your experiences as a scholar. After completing the scholarship, students must leave Australia for at least two years.

3. MORA – CQUniversity Australia Scholarship Program

The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) Indonesia and Central Queensland University partnership has led to the establishment of the MORA – CQUniversity Australia Scholarship program. This is an opportunity for Indonesians to pursue higher research studies in the university. The scholarship is applicable for four years maximum.

For the application, interested students may select a research higher degree on the qualified research strength areas. Prospective supervisors must also approve their Expression of Interest for the course and location before they file their application of study at Central Queensland University. Then they can apply for the scholarship through the MORA website.

4. Capstone Editing Conference Travel Grant for Postgraduate Research Students

The Capstone Editing Conference Travel Grant is intended to fund postgraduate students’ expenses to attend an important and beneficial conference. This conference, which may be domestic or international, must be related to their degree. There is no need to present a paper or poster during the conference, but it is preferred.

The scholarship amount may be used for flight, accommodation, and registration costs. Thus, to apply, interested students must include an itinerary, budget, and letter of support from the supervisor. Full-time students are preferred, but part-time students may be eligible if they provide proof that career commitments or medical conditions prevent them from full-time studies. Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships at Central Queensland University

1. International Student Scholarship

This Central Queensland University scholarship is intended for international students pursuing studies in the university’s regional campuses. There are no minimum GPA requirements to be eligible for the offer. However, it is only for new, full-time students.
