The Women in Economics and Finance Scholarship offers unlimited awards for postgraduate taught students enrolling at Queen Mary University of London. Eligible programmes include MSc Banking and Finance, MSc Behavioural Finance, MSc Corporate Finance, MSc Finance and Machine Learning, MSc Investment Banking, MSc Wealth Management, and several others listed by the university. The scholarship aims to address the underrepresentation of women in Economics and Finance by supporting highly qualified international women. Recipients are automatically considered without needing a separate application, and the £3,000 award will be deducted from tuition fees upon enrolment.

The Children of Alumni Award is also applicable for Master’s and PhD degree programs. This Queen Mary University of London scholarship is intended for children of Queen Mary alumni who are not from the European Union. There is no application, as the discount will be automatically applied upon enrollment. However, the student may need to coordinate with the university’s alumni team for their parent’s alumni status and discount application.

The ANII Becas scholarship is a funded partnership by ANII and Queen Mary to support graduate students from Uruguay in pursuing any full-time program in the university. This Queen Mary University of London scholarship will be directed towards tuition fees and living expenses. However, for those who intend to pursue PhD in Medicine or Dentistry, this scholarship will not be enough to fund their studies. Application for admission to the university must be made before the application for this scholarship.

The ANID (Becas Chile) scholarship is made possible through the agreement and mutual funding of ANID Becas Chile and Queen Mary. Its purpose is for Chilean students pursuing full-time graduate studies (Master’s or PhD) in the university. Through this, Queen Mary provides a 20% tuition fees discount, while ANID sponsors the rest of the fee, along with a stipend, return airfare, settlement allowance, and health insurance.
Students must receive an offer letter from Queen Mary before they can apply for the scholarship. In their application to Queen Mary, they must also state that they will apply for the ANID Becas Chile funding.

For the Business and Management Postgraduate Scholarships, there are 27 countries whose students are eligible for it if they pursue an MSc or MA program in the School of Business and Management of Queen Mary. There are 30 awards for this Queen Mary University of London scholarship, and there is no need for students to apply separately as they will be notified if they are qualified. COLFUTURO is a Colombian non-profit organization, and since 2015, it has helped Colombians gain access to high-quality graduate programs in Queen Mary. The offer is applicable for all Master’s or PhD programs in Queen Mary, except for Medicine and Dentistry. There are only 3 PhD recipients for this offer every year, but the awards for Master’s are limitless.
To apply, you must submit an application to Queen Mary for admission and COLFUTURO for the scholarship. Applicants may request the benefits in full despite studying for only one year. They may receive 80% of the amount if they agree to return to Colombia and stay there for three to five years after completing their degree. There are also co-funding discounts that recipients of the scholarship may avail of – 20% for Master’s degree students and 100% for PhD students.
