Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University: Rankings
Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University (VRU) is a university in Pathum Thani originating from the Petchburiwittay Alongkorn Teacher Training School. The training school was established in 1932 on land donated by Princess Valaya Alongkorn of Phetchaburi and so named after her. VRU became a full-fledged university in 2004 when the King of Thailand instituted the Rajabhat University Act to upgrade all teacher training schools with adequate capacities to university status.
