Tokushima University is a national university in Tokushima, Japan. It was founded in 1949 as a result of the merger of six schools. There are five undergraduate departments and seven graduate schools at the university. Shuji Nakamura, a Nobel Prize in Physics winner, is an alumnus of the University of Tokushima.
