The University of Tlaxcala, or Universidad Politécnica de Tlaxcala (UPTx), founded in 2004, is a public university in San Pedro Xalcaltzinco, Tlaxcala. UPTx’s mission is to train competent and innovative students to become responsible professionals who will contribute significantly to its local community. Engineering, biotechnology, automotive systems, and information technology are among the university’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs currently offered.
