Originally founded as Northampton Technical College in 1924, The University of Northampton was able to obtain its ‘university status’ in 2005. The University of Northampton initially had campuses on Avenue Campus and Park Campus in Kingsthorpe. However, in 2018, the university established its new Waterside campus, which replaced the Avenue and Park campuses. The University of Northampton is comprised of four faculties – Faculty of Education and Humanities, Faculty of Arts, Science, and Technology, Faculty of Business and Law, and Faculty of Health and Society, which offers a wide variety of different programs and courses.
