The University of Finance Rhineland-Palatinate was established in 1981 as a non-profit institution for higher education that specializes in providing high-quality teaching and learning in finance. The institution has undergone several changes throughout its years of operations. It was formerly known as the University of Applied Sciences for Finance Rhineland-Palatinate. In addition, the institution is responsible for training future tax officials by teaching them technical knowledge and methods and helping them practice professional skills in finance and tax law. This state university is also in-charge in reporting to the State Office for Taxes in Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz).
