The University of Dubrovnik (UNIDU) is the newest public university in Croatia, created in 2003 by revamping the long-standing Polytechnic of Dubrovnik into a full-fledged university. As a consequence, the university boasts new facilities, modern curricula, and easily adaptable programs that are tailored to the student’s needs.
Part of the universities focus is to create new-interdisciplinary programs that tally with the needs of the economy and aid in societal development. The other part of the university’s focus is to maximize Croatia’s maritime potential and improve naval technology.
