Tenri University: Tuition, Rankings
Founded by Shozen Nakayama, Tenri University was initially established as a language school to teach missionaries who would go on an overseas mission to preach Tenrikyo – a Japanese new religion. It has gradually expanded and has formed several study programs in various fields of study over the years. The current academic disciplines offered at the undergraduate level are human studies, language and literature, international studies, and Budo and Sports studies. While clinical psychology, religion and culture studies, and physical education studies are programs offered at the graduate level.
