Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University: Rankings
Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (SNRU) started operations in 1964 as Sakon Nakhon Teachers’ Training School. It later became a university after the declaration of King Bhumibol in 2005, where capable teachers’ training colleges were upgraded to universities. SNRU is a comprehensive university offering programs in diverse fields of study, but the university excels in training experts in early childhood education due to its background. Furthermore, the university requires all students enrolled in its various programs to take a compulsory education course. This is to ensure that all graduates from the university, no matter their fields of study, become capable educators.
