Rangamati Science and Technology University, locally known as RMSTU, is the first public university established in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region. The university was inaugurated in 2013 by the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with the vision of providing quality scientific and technical education to benefit the region and the nation.
