Established in 1991, the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Dresden or Evangelische Hochschule Dresden (EHS) in german offers only a handful of academic disciplines with carefully selected undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Social work and pedagogy are among the few educational programs currently offered at the university. As a protestant university, its learning approach is an amalgamation of practice-based and researched-based learning in addition to integrating theological education into its curriculum.
