National Veterinary School of Algiers: Rankings
The National Veterinary School of Algiers is one of seven centers in Algeria offering veterinary education. It was established by a presidential decree in 1965 to address the outbreaks of horse illness in the 1960s. The school officially opened its doors in 1970 as the National College of Agronomy of the Higher National Agronomic School. Admission to this institution is one of the highest in the country. Responding to a request from the Ministry of Agriculture, the school extended its veterinary course from five to six years in 2022.
