Mountains of the Moon University was founded as a private, non-profit institution in 2005. In 2018, the Uganda National Council for Higher Education granted the university chartered status. In July 2022, it became a public university through a Memorandum of Agreement. As a public university, it was established to provide educational services and effect positive change in Uganda’s rural communities. Its specializations are in the fields of agriculture, tourism, and environmental conservation.

    1. I don’t think the university offers diploma course in wildlife and natural resource management when I’ve searched in on their website
