Meiho University was established in 1966 as the first private nursing junior college in Taiwan, with around 300 students and only one department, the nursing department. The school is now made up of three colleges; the College of Health and Nursing, the College of Business and Management, and the College of Human Ecology; with nearly 9000 students. It is built on the values of professionalism, holistic development, and internationalization, and the school continues to uphold these values as it pursues academic excellence.
