Lukenya University is a residential university founded by the Late Honourable. Rtd Justice Kasanga Mulwa and his wife Martha Kasanga Mulwa in Machakos, Kenya. Its story began in 1991 when it opened as a primary school on the founders’ cattle farm. The institution transitioned to become Lukenya College, which offered diplomas and certificates in various courses and was accredited in 2015. It was granted a full-fledged university status in 2021 with four schools.
