Through the Minister of Higher Education of the USSR, Lipetsk State Technical University was established in 1956 with specialty education in the field of technology, machinery, engineering, and production. Its capacity and service have expanded with 3 institutes and 8 faculties. Other fields of study are now being taught in the university such as informatics, physics, social sciences, and law. Education catered by the university is at undergraduate and graduate levels. These consist of bachelor’s, specialties, and master’s programs. Professional education, training courses, and secondary vocational education are also present.
