Hezekiah University was established in 2015 as a private university in Umudi. The idea of the university began nearly 10 years earlier in 2004, and was a response to the state of education in Nigeria. Living Christ Mission Inc sought to address the crisis in higher education gripping the country, particularly the significant problem of a lack of access to higher education for many aspiring students. The goal was to build a renowned institute of higher education, which would also be a vehicle for the Church to positively reach its congregation, local community, and the country. Hezekiah University offers a wide range of courses across different fields of study.
