Hebei Institute of Communication (HIC) is a Chinese private school with high regard for the media and its role in society. The institute offers undergraduate courses and is among the first private institutions to recruit graduate students for its master of fine arts (MFA) program. Many collaborations between private establishments and other academic institutions were established to improve HIC’s media communication education further. Many graduates are now essential to the media industry.
