Belarusian-Russian University is an interstate higher education institution of two countries, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation. Its history can be traced back to the foundation of the Mogilev Machine Building Institute in 1961. Over the years, it expanded and had its name changed several times before finally being reorganized into Belarusian-Russian University in 2001. With the agreement between the two governments, it was recognized as a State Institution of Higher Professional Education. Today, Belarusian-Russian University offers undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and continuing education programs.
