Situated in 6th of October city, a satellite city of Cairo, Ahram Canadian University was established in 2005 by Al Ahram Establishment. It is one of the oldest and largest news organizations in Egypt. As a leading private institution, this university offers high-quality education that meets international standards by collaborating with major Canadian universities. Historically, the university has started with four faculties: pharmacy, business administration, mass communication, and computer science and information technology. Today, it has expanded to nine faculties and runs six specialized centers, including the Center of Media Studies.
