The Abbes Laghrour University of Khenchela is a higher education institution located in the heart of the Aures mountains in the northeastern part of Algeria. The university was named after Abbes Laghrour, a nationalist activist who fought for Algeria’s independence in Wilaya. It was founded in 1999 as an annex of Batna University and became independent in 2001. As a leading public university in the country, it actively pursues research initiatives that contribute to the nation’s development and is committed to academic excellence.
