What are the admission requirements for universities in Luxembourg?
For undergraduate studies, you have to submit a secondary school certificate that has been recognized by the Ministère de l’Education Nationale. You also need to submit proof of proficiency in either French or German, since some classes are delivered in the aforementioned languages.
Taking post-graduate studies in Luxembourg, on the other hand, has an easier process. Universities in the country usually consider baccalaureate certificates and degrees from other countries.

1. University of Luxembourg
Located in the city capital, the public University of Luxembourg was only founded in 2003. Despite its young age, it has been recognized as one of the best ‘new’ schools by the Times Higher Education Rankings.
This cheap university in Luxembourg has three schools. These are dispersed throughout the Belvas, Kirchberg, and Limpertsberg campuses.
One is the Faculty of Science, Technology, and Communication, which offers 8 bachelors, 17 masters, and 1 doctorate degree.
The Faculty of Law, Economics, and Finance, on the other hand, offers 3 bachelors, 11 masters, and 2 doctorate degrees.
There are 4 bachelors, 15 masters, and 1 doctorate degree available through the Faculty of Language and Literature, Humanities, Arts, and Education.
The university also offers 16 lifelong learning courses, as well as several vocational training opportunities.

2. LUNEX International University of Health, Exercise, and Sports
LUNEX University, which was launched in November 2016, is an institution that specializes in three disciplines. Located along with the Avenue du Parc des Sports, the school offers baccalaureate and master degrees in Physiotherapy, Sports and Exercise Science, and International Sport Management.

3. Luxembourg School of Business (LSB)
Known as the first graduate school in the country, LSB offers two types of graduate degrees: a full-time Masters in Management and a weekend Masters in Business Administration. It also provides Executive Education certificates, which are usually created in coordination with sponsoring companies.
Founded in 2014, this affordable university in Luxembourg is duly accredited by the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Despite its young age, LSB is guided by some of the world’s best business professionals. They include Prof. Dr. Philip Kotler (the father of marketing), Arturo Cardelus y Munoz-Seca (Ferrero executive), and Dr. Larry Moneta (Duke University Vice President), among many others.
LSB is very gracious in offering scholarships, including mobility grants and family scholarships, to name a few.
4. European Business University (EBU)
Located in Wiltz, Luxembourg, EBU is a school that specializes in business education. The campus is housed in the Chateau Wiltz, which was built in 1573. Despite being from the medieval age, it is complete with all the amenities a student could ever want. These include student accommodations, an auditorium, study lounges, a library, even a café – all serviced with speedy WiFi connections.

5. Business Science Institute
The Business Science Institute is another school that takes residence in Wiltz Castle. It specializes in Doctor in Business Administration courses.
It offers an Executive DBA course that runs for three years. The curriculum includes seminars, follow-up sessions, and a digital educational tool kit for research. Payment for the Executive DBA can be done in four terms.
The Digital DBA, on the other hand, is a flexible course that can be taken anytime. The degree is awarded in conjunction with the SKEMA Business School and Jean Moulin University. Compared to the Executive DBA, the Digital DBA tuition fees can only be paid in two terms.
Rates for both degrees remain the same for local and international students.
6. Jack Welch College of Business and Technology (JWCBT) – Sacred Heart University
The last university in our list of cheapest universities in Luxembourg is JWCBT, which is the Luxembourg branch of the Connecticut-based Sacred Heart University. It offers a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, which can be accomplished part-time and full-time.
The part-time program covers evening classes that run for 18 months. It comes with a two-week study abroad program that can be done in the US or Asia.
The full-time MBA, on the other hand, includes a paid internship program. Students may also be entitled to a work visa after graduation.
JWCBT also offers certificate programs in Core Business Skills, Corporate Finance, Leadership, Management in the Digital Age, Modern Business Management, and Private Equity. It also has an Executive Education track, which can be done through open enrollment or lunchtime learning.
