The history of the university can be traced back to 1983 with the establishment of Christian College in Bangkok. The institute had modest beginnings — it initially offered only an undergraduate program in Nursing Science and was temporarily located in the Bangkok Christian Hospital. Since then, the institute has grown immensely over the years, and was relocated to a 70-acre campus in 1996.
