Study Abroad is the easiest way to go abroad and live there for long period of time which in hand results in the expert knowledge and know culture.

Studying Abroad is not new; in early days our ancestors had traveled throughout the world looking for new knowledge weather in the field of technology, commerce, Science, astronomy etc.

If we would had been confined to our places the world we are living in would not been had been possible.

The following are ways in which you can study abroad.

Summer Schools:

Majority of Universities have summer courses and students from all over the world come there.

Summer Schools are quiet popular among the high school students where they can actually utilize their time, Experience College and earn grade along with experience.

Major criteria in summer school admissions-

  • If you are international student you will need IELTS,PTE or TOEFL Scores
  • A Essay may be required
  • Good GPA (Major Universities ask for 3.0+ )
Undergraduate:

Undergraduate degree if the foundation stone in everyone’s life which later is the base for Masters Degree and in some cases PHD.

The students should be very sure as to what they are interested in and will be studying for next four years (In western countries undergraduate degree are of four years) in their life at college.

Major criteria in Undergraduate admissions-

  • If you are international student you will need IELTS,PTE or TOEFL Scores(IELTS 6.0+ ,TOELF 80+)*
  • For international students you can be asked to get your High school mark sheets converted in 4 GPA by ETS.
  • Good High School GPA (Major Universities ask for 3.0+)
  • College Essay plays a major role in admission decision.

 

*If you have low scores in IELTS, PTE or TOEFL you can take bridge courses at universities.

 

Masters:

After Undergraduate majority of student’s moves towards Masters Degree, Some others start to works for few years before they enroll for Masters.

In every country Masters Degree can be taken after Undergraduate in two years excluding any project if required.

Major criteria in Masters admissions-

  • If you are international student you will need IELTS,PTE or TOEFL Scores(IELTS 6.5+ ,TOELF 80+)*
  • For international students you can be asked to get your High school and Undergraduate mark sheets converted in 4 GPA by ETS.
  • Good Undergraduate GPA (Major Universities ask for 3.0+)

PHD:

This is advance stages of study where you are actually working rater then studying, usually you will be getting paid while you do research at university.

 

Major criteria in PHD admissions-

  • If you are international student you will need IELTS,PTE or TOEFL Scores(IELTS 7+ ,TOELF 100+)*
  • For international students you can be asked to get your Undergraduate and Master’s mark sheets converted in 4 GPA by ETS.
  • Good Undergraduate and Master’s GPA (Major Universities ask for 3.5+)
  • 2 + Research Publications.
  • Research Proposal is needed.

There are many organizations that hire international students for internships you just have to keep an eye on open positions in companies you like to intern in.

Or you can write company HR and send them your CV with Cover Letter explaining why you want to do internship with them and what you can offer them by your skills.

There are many students that do internships in company get hired by the same company at the end of internship period because of their hard work.

Volunteer Abroad

There are many volunteering opportunities that can range from wild life conservation to teaching in some deprived communities, generally you have to go there and live with the community for the period you signed up for the volunteering work.
