University of Applied Labour Studies (UALS) has a German name of Hochschule der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (HdBA). However, it may also be known as the University of the Federal Employment Agency. This relatively young public institution trains students through its labor and career-related programs. What’s interesting as well is that bachelor’s students experience both theoretical and practical education because their programs are dual studies. UALS has two locations: Mannheim and Schwerin.
