Hubei Institute of Fine Arts is a provincial art college in Wuhan, China, and the only one of its type in Central China. It was first named Wuchang Fine Arts School in 1920 and, in 1949, became part of Zhongyuan University. The institute became independent and earned its present name in 1958. It comprises two campuses: Canglongdao and Tanhualin. Both undergraduate and master’s programs are available.
