2.Korean Government Scholarship

 

The Government of the Republic of Korea has announced ‘2018 Korean Government Scholarship Program’ for undergraduate degree tenable at higher educational institutions in Korea.

3.New Zealand Scholarship

Ministry of Human Resource Development invites applications from Indian Nationals residing in India for the above-mentioned Commonwealth Scholarship for Masters/ PhD level Study In New Zealand.

New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship Covers

*Full tuition fees
*A fortnightly living allowance
– this is a contribution to basic living expenses
*An establishment allowance
– this is a once only payment as a contribution towards accommodation expenses, text
books, study materials

Selection Criteria for New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship

 

Applicant must:
a) be an Indian citizen (Indian citizens living abroad are not eligible).
b) not hold another scholarship during the period of the New Zealand Commonwealth
Scholarship.
c) give an undertaking that after completion of their study they will return to India
in order to contribute to country’s social/economic development for a minimum period
of two years.

4.Study Abroad Scholarships for Indian Minority students

 

The Prime Minister’s New 15 Point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities was announced in June, 2006. It provides that the schemes for scholarships for meritorious students from minority communities will be formulated and implemented. The scheme of Interest Subsidy on educational loans for overseas studies will promote educational advancement of student from minority communities.

Eligibility

i) The student should have secured admission in the approved courses at Masters, M.Phil or Ph.D levels abroad for the courses shown at Para-14.
ii) He! She should have availed loan from a scheduled bank under the Education Loan Scheme of the Indian Banks Association (IBA) for the purpose.
